Biography
Dr Ashraf Tokhi is an Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon with a clinical focus on oesophageal and gastric surgery.
He completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne, followed by surgical training at Austin Health and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. During a master's program at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, he developed a particular interest in upper gastrointestinal cancer surgery.
Dr Tokhi undertook an Upper Gastrointestinal Clinical Fellowship at Nottingham University Hospitals in the United Kingdom. His fellowship experience included endoscopic management of early cancers and robotic surgical practice.
